Fire Rescue International 2013 – local highlights
At the Fire Rescue International trade show held at McCormick Place, a variety of local fire departments showcased their latest equipment and vehicles in the exhibit hall. These images capture some of the standout units on display.
A brand-new AEV ambulance from the Bloomingdale Fire Department was featured, highlighting the department's commitment to modern emergency response. The vehicle was photographed by Larry Shapiro.
Leyden Township Fire Department also displayed two ambulances built by Wheeled Coach. These units represent the department’s ongoing efforts to upgrade their fleet with the latest technology and safety features. Both were captured by Larry Shapiro.
