Futia has a strong background in the converting sector, having previously led Sur-Seal’s manufacturing facilities and service centers across North Carolina, Ohio, Mexico, and China. Before joining Sur-Seal, he served as General Manager at Mueller Custom Cut since 2005, which was acquired by Sur-Seal in 2021. His extensive experience in operations, sales, and marketing spans over three decades, including a notable tenure with 3M.

Pete is actively involved in several industry groups, including the IR/Trane supplier council and the 3M Converter Markets Advisory Council. Under his leadership, Mueller Custom Cut was recognized as one of the top workplaces in Charlotte multiple times and was also nominated as a top family-owned business by the Charlotte Business Journal. “With our talented teams and strong operational foundation, I’m eager to guide Sur-Seal in meeting the evolving needs of our customers and driving future growth,” said Futia.
