**Product Description:**
Most groundwater contains high levels of iron and manganese, which can cause discoloration and taste issues. Our company has developed an energy-efficient water treatment system designed specifically for the removal of these contaminants.
The system integrates several key components to ensure efficient and effective filtration:
1. **Aeration Section:** This part eliminates the need for an aeration pond or tower, reducing chemical usage and lowering operational costs. It only requires a small amount of air to facilitate oxidation.
2. **Oxidation and Separation Unit:** The main unit uses strong oxidizing reactions to separate impurities. It combines a suspended filter pool with a single device, offering a unique and compact structure.
3. **Filter Part:** The filter includes an internal backwash system, eliminating the need for a separate backwash pump or tank. This reduces the overall footprint and lowers investment costs.
4. **Pressure Backwashing System:** High-pressure backwashing ensures even and thorough cleaning of the filter media, preventing dead zones and extending the life of the filter.
5. **Direct Connection to Water Supply:** The system can be directly connected to the user’s water supply network, eliminating the need for a clear water tank and two pumping stations, thus reducing equipment costs and avoiding secondary pollution.
**Application & Principle:**
This groundwater iron and manganese removal system is widely used in high-speed rail areas, industrial demineralization, and pretreatment of saline water. It utilizes the principle of aeration oxidation catalysis by manganese sand, adsorption, and filtration to remove iron and manganese ions from water. Air is used to oxidize Fe²⺠and Mn²⺠into insoluble Fe³⺠and MnO₂, which are then removed through natural manganese sand catalysis, adsorption, and filtration.

- Iron Oxidation: 4Fe²⺠+ 3O₂ + 6H₂O → 4Fe(OH)₃↓
