Manhole Description

1.) The manhole cover is installed on the top of the tank truck, providing access for fluid transfer operations, inspection, and maintenance of the internal tank. It helps protect the tank during emergencies.

2.) The cover includes a P/V vent that adjusts pressure. When there's a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the tanker, it automatically vents air during accidents or high temperatures.

3.) Under normal conditions, the vent remains closed during loading and unloading. Temperature changes can cause internal pressure variations, so the vent closes automatically to maintain stable pressure within the tank.

4.) In emergency situations, such as a car accident, the emergency exhaust valve opens to release pressure and prevent explosions.

5.) The design allows for a two-stage opening. When the upper binder plate is opened, pressure is released to prevent workers from being pushed over.

6.) Two blind holes are provided for installing optical sensors, dip tubes, or external vacuum valves based on customer requirements.

7.) A hoop connection replaces the flanged connection, making installation more convenient and reliable.
