This post from the Fire Service, Inc. Facebook page highlights a recent project: the complete refurbishment of a 2002 Pierce Dash pumper for the Homer Township Fire Department. The work was done in-house at our St. John facility, and we're proud to share the transformation. The upgrades included a full repaint, new roll-up doors, updated pump drain valves, additional DOT-compliant lighting, emergency LED lights, fresh lettering and striping, smooth aluminum rear panels with chevrons, scorpion-coated interior compartments, and reworked shelving. Every detail was handled by our team, ensuring quality and precision throughout the process. It's always rewarding to see the difference a professional refurbishment can make. Whether it's a brand-new rig or an older model, we take pride in making sure every fire apparatus looks and performs its best. And yes, we even have the skills to make other departments' rigs look good too.
