Spectral Edge Launches Eyeetq Set-top Boxes for Color Blind Users

Eyeteq, a TV set-top box developed by Spectral Edge of East Anglia, can change the color of the frame without affecting the viewing of non-color blind users. The company said the technology can also be used in video games. A color blindness awareness group called on Eyeeteq to become part of the television standard. According to Spectral Edge’s website, “Eyeteq set-top boxes can gently modify the color of the image, improving the visibility and overall appearance of the image for color blind observers.”
