Renault will launch electric vehicles in China

Dongfeng Renault recently announced that it will produce an electric vehicle based on the Fenglang ZE model. This car is a compact 4-door electric vehicle with a range of 185km. Dongfeng Renault said that this pure electric vehicle will be put into production at the Wuhan plant in 2017 and the Dongfeng brand logo (not Renault) will be hoisted.

At present, Dongfeng Renault is preparing electric vehicle test rooms. Renault has launched four electric models, Renault ZOE, Twizy, Fenglang ZE and Kangoo ZE. Dongfeng and Renault will launch an electric vehicle that will be built on the basis of Feng Lang ZE. The length/width/height of the overseas version of Feng Lang ZE is 4748/1813/1458mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2701mm. According to the plan, Dongfeng Renault's domestic models will be listed in succession in early 2016. Dongfeng Renault will launch two SUV models first, and then launch its first pure electric vehicle.
