This message comes from John Tulipano: At approximately 02:45 on November 3rd, 2015, the Winfield Fire Department was called to a fire at a detached garage located at Evans and Harrison. When the first responding units arrived, they found the garage fully engulfed, with flames spreading into two split-level frame homes, each measuring 25 by 50 feet. A box alarm was immediately dispatched to bring in more personnel, and the fire was brought under control within about 30 minutes using four handlines. The firefighters worked quickly and efficiently to prevent the fire from spreading further, and the situation was stabilized before any additional structures were affected.
