The crews were well-coordinated, and it looked like they had everything under control pretty fast. I snapped a few shots from behind the scene, capturing the action as it unfolded. For once, I was in the right place at the right time. I was behind West Chicago Station 1 when the general alarm went out. I followed the (3) buggies and Tower 6 to the incident.
The fire was in a research lab at Ball Seed. From what I heard initially, it started in an incubator on the second floor. Not much to see up close, but the crews were quick to respond.
