The first fully automated mobile "digital movie projection vehicle" has recently been launched by Dongfeng Yulon Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. in collaboration with China Steam Commercial Co., Ltd. This innovative vehicle is designed to bring digital cinema experiences directly to rural areas, aligning with national initiatives to promote cultural outreach and improve access to entertainment in remote regions.
In response to the call from various government ministries to bring movies to the countryside and support the central government's policies, Dongfeng Yulon actively explored new market opportunities. Partnering with SAIC Motor, a leading player in the automotive industry, the company developed a specialized "Digital Cinema Projector" model based on the popular "Little Overlord" concept. The vehicle was carefully designed to address common challenges faced during rural film screenings, such as unstable roads and limited infrastructure.
Equipped with a Yunnei 4100QBZL engine delivering 96 horsepower, the vehicle offers strong performance and reliability, making it suitable for rough terrain and long-distance travel. Its most notable feature is the fully automatic projection system, which eliminates the need for manual operation. This advanced design has set a new benchmark, reaching international standards in mobile cinema technology.
