Funeral for Retired North Chicago FF Roger M Belski
I just received some photos and details from Tim Olk regarding the funeral for retired firefighter Roger M. Belski from North Chicago. It was a somber yet touching ceremony that honored his service and sacrifice to the community.
The first image shows a lone bugler playing "Taps," a poignant moment that always brings a sense of reflection and respect during firefighter funerals. Tim mentioned how powerful it was to hear those mournful notes echoing through the cemetery.
