This layer provides excellent protection against mechanical damage, moisture, and chemical exposure, making it essential for long-term performance. To ensure quality and reliability, 3PE coated pipes undergo several tests before being approved for use. These include visual inspection to check for uniformity, defects, and foreign materials; coating thickness measurement to confirm compliance with standards; holiday detection to identify any pinholes or gaps; anti-peeling tests to assess adhesion strength; impact resistance testing to evaluate durability under stress; indentation tests to measure resistance to penetration; thermal analysis to monitor material behavior; and cathodic stripping tests to verify performance under electrochemical conditions. Each test is conducted according to strict specifications, ensuring that the final product meets the required quality and safety standards.
