Evanston firefighters responded to a second-alarm fire at a laundromat located at 838 Dodge Avenue on Thursday evening. Battalion 21 reported that the structure was a one-story building measuring 125 by 125 feet, featuring a bowstring truss roof system. Fire was observed through the roof, and crews were engaged in defensive operations to prevent the spread of flames.
