EPDM Foam Sheet

Classified by foaming density
Low density EPDM foam board: lightweight, good flexibility, suitable for occasions with strict weight restrictions and buffering needs, such as packaging materials for some precision instruments.
Medium density EPDM foam board: achieves a good balance between flexibility and strength, and is commonly used in conventional application scenarios such as insulation and sound insulation in the construction industry.
High density EPDM foam board: With high strength and the ability to withstand certain pressures, it is suitable as a shock-absorbing and sealing material for industrial equipment.
Classified by purpose
EPDM foam board for construction: used for external wall insulation, roof insulation, waterproofing, etc., which can effectively improve the energy-saving effect and comfort of buildings.
EPDM foam board for automobiles: It can be used in automobile manufacturing for door sealing, interior sound insulation, seat cushioning, and other components to enhance the comfort and safety of automobiles.
EPDM foam board for industrial use: suitable for shock absorption, noise reduction, sealing and other aspects of industrial equipment, such as sealing materials for pipeline interfaces and shock absorbers for large machinery.
Open cell EPDM foam:
High temperature resistance up to 120 ℃, long-term use without cracking, service life up to 7-10 years, excellent aging resistance.
Products that meet customer needs can be produced through processes such as slitting, adhesive backing, and die-cutting.
Widely used in industries such as mechanical equipment, automobiles, air conditioning, electronics, construction, instrumentation, aviation, small appliances, etc., as sealing gaskets, cushioning pads, soundproofing pads, soundproofing strips, seismic barriers, etc.
Closed cell EPDM foam:
It has good insulation, heat insulation, buffering, shock absorption, sound absorption, sound insulation, sealing, flame retardant and other characteristics.
Ethylene propylene rubber products can be used at -40~120 ℃.
Applied in sealing, automotive components, waterproof materials for construction, wire and cable sheaths, heat-resistant rubber hoses, tapes, and other fields.
The choice of open cell or closed cell EPDM foam board depends on specific application requirements. For example, if the material needs to have slow rebound, low pressure change, acid and alkali resistance, UV resistance, high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, and a long service life, then choosing open cell EPDM EPDM open cell rubber sponge is suitable. On the contrary, for occasions with lower requirements for service life, high temperature resistance, and UV resistance, closed cell EPDM foam can be chosen.
